Heritage Society 

The Heritage Society is comprised of individuals who have chosen to include the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in their estate plans. The Heritage Society honors those who have made planned gifts through charitable trusts, gift annuities, insurance, IRAs and bequests to benefit SDSM&T. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of individuals who plan today to ensure that Tech remains a high quality institution in the years ahead.

All planned gifts entitle you to membership in our Heritage Society, regardless of the gift amount. In fact, it isn't even necessary for you to disclose the gift amount, just let us know that the gift is in place. Also, if you wish to remain anonymous, your privacy will be respected.

While outright gifts are encouraged, planned gifts provide excellent opportunities for an individual's personal situation, whether it is for tax advantages or additional income needs. These gifts can be a highly advantageous method to benefit you, your spouse, and/or others as well as SDSM&T.

By taking the time to plan ahead, Heritage Society members ensure that their wishes will be part of their legacy here at SDSM&T. We invite you to become a Heritage Society member and make a difference in future Tech graduates!
